The new season is almost upon us and details of two training games will be posted to all Facebook members.

The first training game is planned for Sunday May 2008. Once venue and kick off times are arranged all members will be notified.

There will be another training game scheduled for Thursday 22nd May at Poncanna Fields for all WARFL players to attend to improve on fitness and game skills.

Finally!

The President of the Double Blues is looking to take a league representative side of British players to Chippenham to play against the Redbacks team there. Only British players are eligible (sorry my Aussie friends) or really new players to the game are picked. This will give our home grown talent a chance to pit their skills against players who have been playing the game for the same amount of time as us. (Chippenham are a recently formed team with mainly new players)

Please check the fixtures list for league fixtures and any tournaments that we may frequent.

There is also a WARFL 5-a-side team on Wednesdays at Gol in Canton and we could always do with a few players so come down and play a girls sport for a spot of fitness. Facebook group link
